Carbon has been a favorite piece of cookware for centuries. It offers a unique blend of benefits, including high heat tolerance, even heat distribution, and the ability to develop a natural non-stick surface through seasoning. It's a good alternative to cast iron, being lighter and easier to maneuver.  And like cast iron carbon steel will last a lifetime and will be a favorite to pass down to the next generation.

Carbon steel is a non-toxic material, making it a safe choice for home cooks. Carbon steel can be used for a wide range of cooking tasks, from frying eggs to grilling steaks.  It can be used on just about any cooking surface, inside and outside.

Our 8.5" Farm Chef is a favorite for cooking eggs.  It measures a little over 8.5" rim to rim with a 1.5" depth.

All skillets are handmade in the USA, and cookware is made in small batches.  Each piece of cookware will vary slightly and will have either brass or copper rivets.

    Great for eggs

My family keeps this on the stove, and we use it almost every morning to make eggs. I love that it doesn’t stick!
