Carbon has been a favorite piece of cookware for centuries. It offers a unique blend of benefits, including high heat tolerance, even heat distribution, and the ability to develop a natural non-stick surface through seasoning. It's a good alternative to cast iron, being lighter and easier to maneuver. And like cast iron carbon steel will last a lifetime and will be a favorite to pass down to the next generation.
Carbon steel is a non-toxic material, making it a safe choice for home cooks. Carbon steel can be used for a wide range of cooking tasks, from frying eggs to grilling steaks. It can be used on just about any cooking surface, inside and outside.

This is the best new pan I own.
I’ve cooked for decades with vintage Griswold and Wagner pans passed down through my family, and this one from Showalter Home and Forge holds its own. Honestly, I’d say it’s just as good, maybe even better. Every time I cook with it, it gets better. The seasoning, the heat retention, the way it cleans up. The quality and the craftsmanship is outstanding.
But what means even more to me is knowing it was made by a Christian family right here in VA
